Hawzah News Agency- It was 2020 when Scientific and Cultural Foundation of Imam Reza holy shrine was established in order to coordinate, consolidate and strengthen Imam Reza shrine’s cultural and scientific activities. The initiative was also offered to promote goals and ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
Conducting various research and study projects, programming and policy-making, monitoring continuous evaluation of scientific and cultural activities, organizing scientific, cultural and research centers to meet cultural needs of pilgrims, facilitating communications and interactions among educational, research and religious centers, and offering supports of any kind to affiliated institutions and centers are just some important functions of the foundation which are followed by exercising modeling and networking procedures.
With respect to the organizational mission of the Scientific and Cultural Foundation, executive and operational activities are carried out by the affiliated centers and what the foundation does will mostly focus on supporting, guiding and supervising these activities.
Some 12 affiliated cultural and scientific centers of the foundation include Islamic Research Foundation, Razavi Cultural Foundation, Imam Reza International University, Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, Institute of Libraries, Museums and Documents, Jurisprudence School of Scholar of Prophet Mohammad (bpuh) Family, Holy Quran Center, Institute of Artistic Creations, Behnashr Institute, Printing and Publishing Institute, Cultural Institute of Holy Mausoleums, and Malik National Library and Museum Institute.
